Yes. Network Commander has the ability to allow all clients access to another VLAN (a virtual mini-network you would put the printer in).

Yes. Bandwidth allocation is set per client. This means if you have a client and you assign 4 offices/rooms to him, the allocated bandwidth you set will be shared among all 4 of the offices/rooms. Due to this and to the various needs of clients, Network Commander allows you to set a different bandwidth level for each client in the system.

Yes. You can offer a standard bandwidth plan with a paid upgrade for faster internet speeds. We can also limit the number of devices per room/client/user and allow customers to pay for each additional device they would like to add on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Yes. Network Commander manages wired devices by programming them for you and wireless devices by offering Radius Authentication to ensure users are assigned to the correct network segment. We are looking at ways to integrate the management of wireless access points into our portal so you will have a single console to manage both wired and wireless devices as you make major network modifications.

You can choose to either use MAC based authentication (based on the MAC address of each device a client uses) or username and password authentication. We also have the ability to set up networks that only require a password to log into them (great for guest networks) or even set up a network that has users complete a small form in order to get online (captive portal). Our most popular configuration is assigning a username & password to each user. This allows them to easily use that logon information to connect multiple devices without having to register each one individually.

Yes, you can use equipment you own if it is on our supported equipment list or you may take this opportunity to upgrade your hardware and use our standard suggested hardware platform.

Our core service manages switches, DHCP services, and bandwidth as well as authenticates wireless users and connects them with their hard-wired devices via private VLANs. We also have an add on service that allows you to replace your core & edge switches along with main firewall for more robust services like monitoring with the added bonus of failover (optional) and greater reporting abilities.
